Questions and Comments

The central ICOM documents on this site are maintained by Carla Bonomi (Internet Assistant). All questions and comments relating to this material should be addressed to her.

If you wish to receive further information about ICOM -- its activities, its publications, how to apply for membership, etc, please contact the appropriate staff member at the ICOM Secretariat. Please note that the Secretariat does not provide a general information service about events arranged at individual museums in Paris or elsewhere. Similarly, the individuals listed below cannot be expected to respond to general queries about museum facilities in their regions.

The ICOM Internet host is operated by Cary Karp (by day, the Director of the Internet Strategy and Technology at the Swedish Museum of Natural History). If you have any questions or comments specifically about ICOM's central network facility, please feel free to contact him.

The Web sites operated by individual ICOM committees are independently managed. Follow the links provided on each such site for more information about them.

Questions and comments about:

Communications specifically relating to the technical maintenance of the ICOM Web site may also be addressed to bonomi@icom.museum. General queries relating to ICOM or the museum sector that are sent to this address will be forwarded to the ICOM Secretariat. To avoid confusion or delay, please send all such material directly to the the latter address.

Every attempt will be made at replying promptly to communications sent to any of the above addresses. Apologies are hereby extended to anyone requesting information about matters lying outside the scope described here who does not receive an individual reply.

ICOM Mirror Sites

These sites should be identical and you are welcome to use whichever is most convenient. However, there is some delay in the distribution of new material from the primary site to the mirrors and the former will always be the most up to date. If you maintain a publicly available link to this page please indicate http://icom.museum rather than any of the mirror sites.
