The publication
of the Red List of Latin-American Cultural Objects at Risk is the
result of the joint efforts of a team of experts that gathered at the
Workshop for Drawing Up a Red List of Latin-American Cultural Objects
at Risk. This meeting, held in Bogotá in April 2002, was organized
by ICOM in collaboration with the Colombian Ministry of Culture.
I wish to extend my

efforts have made this publication possible.
